I’ve spent over 20 years photographing weddings across the world, capturing hundreds of celebrations of every size, culture, nationality and faith, and yes, the occasional celebrity wedding too. No two weddings are ever the same. Each one carries its own rhythm, its own energy, its own unrepeatable story, and that’s what keeps me endlessly engaged. I don’t see weddings as events to be “covered”, but as living, breathing narratives that deserve to be told with care and intention.

My approach is documentary at heart. I’m far more interested in honest observation than posed perfection. I don’t direct moments or manufacture emotion. I watch, anticipate, and quietly record what unfolds naturally. The fleeting glance before the ceremony, the squeeze of a hand, the way people lean towards each other when they laugh. These are the details that matter, the moments that feel truer with time rather than dated by it.

I work predominantly in Black & White, using both digital and film, because it strips away distraction and reveals what’s essential. Without colour shouting for attention, emotion takes centre stage. Light, shadow, texture and expression become the language of the image. Alongside this, your final collection also includes carefully edited colour photographs, ensuring the full richness and atmosphere of the day is preserved, while remaining true to a timeless and understated aesthetic.

This isn’t about following fashions, filters, or making your wedding look like an Instagram post. It’s about recording your day as it actually felt, with all the laughter, love, nerves, tenderness and glorious chaos that make it yours. Real moments, honestly captured, will always outlast anything staged.

I love photographing people. The relationships, the connections and the quiet interactions happening just outside the spotlight are what truly define a wedding day. To me, weddings are stories, not staged photo opportunities, and my role is to document them with honesty, artistry and soul.

I photograph weddings because people, and their stories, are endlessly fascinating. And because someone has to make sure these moments are remembered, long after the confetti settles, the music fades and the day becomes part of your history.
