Meet Ruth

Ruth is our talented photographer, living with her husband, Lars, and their daughter, Winnie. When she’s not photographing beautiful weddings, you’ll often find her travelling to London to capture unforgettable celebrations for our couples.

Calm, thoughtful and incredibly observant, Ruth brings a gentle energy to every wedding she photographs. She takes immense pride in documenting the joy, connection and emotion that naturally unfold throughout the day. Taking the time to get to know each couple means she understands what matters most to them, allowing her to capture their story in a way that feels personal, honest and true.

Her photography style is relaxed, emotional, fun, artistic and timeless. Ruth has a remarkable talent for capturing genuine moments without ever being intrusive. Couples often compliment her discreet presence and warm professionalism, as well as her uncanny ability to be in exactly the right place at exactly the right time for those moments that matter most.

Away from the camera, Ruth has a particular soft spot for animals. She has even been known to rescue injured animals and nurse them back to health, a reflection of the same care, patience and compassion she brings to everything she does.
