We believe the most powerful wedding photographs are the honest ones, the quiet moments, the subtle glances, and the unguarded interactions that reveal the true story of a day. By using utilising our experience and skill we remove distractions found in so many wedding photographs so that light, shadow, and human connection take centre stage, letting the feeling of each moment shine through. It’s not about style for style’s sake, it’s about capturing weddings as they naturally unfold, with authenticity and depth at the heart of every image.
Our approach is documentary at its core. we work unobtrusively, letting couples live their day while we record it, creating photographs that are timeless, truthful, and deeply human. All our images are provided in colour however we often return to Black & White for its unique ability to distill the essence of a moment, revealing layers of nuance and intimacy that might otherwise go unnoticed. The result is a wedding story that feels real, lasting, and entirely yours.
David now photographs a limited number of weddings each year. Ruth and Will lead more celebrations for couples seeking the same relaxed, beautifully crafted approach with a photographer who feels just right for them.

We deliberately resist the pull of recent trends the staged poses, over-styled details, and gimmicky edits that flood much of wedding photography today. Instead, we focus on authenticity, capturing the moments that matter most and letting the real energy of the day speak for itself. The result is a body of work that feels genuine, alive, and utterly enduring, untouched by the fleeting fashions of the moment.

We work with Leica cameras, both film and digital, because they see more than what meets the eye. Each frame captures the essence of a moment, the quiet glance, the passing gesture, the subtle play of light and shadow, with clarity, depth, and intimacy.
