Lisa and Nick were married in the early evening at The Savoy Hotel in London. With a ceremony that started later then it is to be expected that the wedding will run quite late, and this was no different with a 3.00am finish it certainly did that. Nick, a Tottenham supporter, who works for my beloved Arsenal, was also marrying into an Arsenal supporting family. As much as I wanted to I could not discuss football especially as Arsenal are currently top of the league and Tottenham are currently experiencing some turmoil....A first for me was a bedekken that was in front of all the guests in the ceremony room, which really had impact, letting all the guests see Nick confirm that Lisa as his bride. As always with any Jewish wedding the Israeli dancing was superb, boisterous, but most of all enjoyable, and the speeches given by the family and friends were heartfelt and emotional.

Like any Savoy Hotel Wedding, the decor and ambience was second to none, it certainly is one of my favourite venues in London.
