Names... I am rubbish at remembering them, numbers I am fine at, but names are my achilles heel and it can get quite embarrassing. So now to a wedding where the brides brother is also a Sam, and whose wedding I shot back in 2010 at Claridges. At that wedding I called Sam all sorts of wrong names and then I called Debs Sam and now I am getting myself confused.

The upshot of all of this is that I am rubbish with names, there were at least 2 Sam's at this wedding, a couple of David's and I was yet again in a muddle. For any future Bride, Groom, or parent I will be using Sir, and Madam from now on, its alot easier.I first met the couple 4 years ago at Sam and Deb's wedding at Claridges Hotel, and so when they phoned me to ask if I would photograph their sisters wedding I was delighted. This was my first North Cadbury Court Wedding has only been open as a wedding venue for a year and already it has gained a lot of popularity in the local area, only 1 hour from me this was a local wedding for me. I guess fusion would be the way to describe this wedding, there was of course the legal part, but also there were Humanist and Jewish elements thrown into the mix as well as that well know custom of blowing pipe smoke over the couple....It was really great to catch up with the Dorger family, time flies by so quickly and it's hard to believe that nearly 4 years has passed since I last saw some of them.

The couple partied hard into the night, I left at 1.00am and they were just on their way to the vaults for the disco.

The couple are now honeymooning in Bali, and look forward to catching up with them on their return.
