Intimate weddings in London
David Pullum specialises in intimate weddings in London.Its a bit of a myth that all I photograph are big weddings in large hotels, I also cover alot of intimate weddings with less than 50-60 guests.
This past month 3 of my 4 weddings have had fewer than 60 guests. I love photographing small intimate weddings as much as I do larger ones, both present their own challenges and both are equally enjoyable.
Charlotte and Michael are from Australia and have been working and living in the UK for a number of years, their wedding was held at the Museum of St John in the East End of London and then onto a small reception at a nearby restaurant.Charlotte , her parents and Bridesmaids had rented a multi million pound apartment for a few days in Clerkenwell where I started my coverage.
Having just less than 60 guests gives me time to interact with most of them whilst photographing them and I find it much easier to integrate within a smaller crowd as my style is very much that I want to communicate with the people I am photographing as opposed to hide from them.
The relaxed atmosphere for their wedding and unique surroundings made for a great day and it was a pleasure to be part of their special day.
