Avington Park Wedding Photographer. A post by David Pullum. David has recently been voted one of the best wedding photographers in the UK for 2020

I have photographed weddings at Avington Park a few times and this is the first wedding where they have used a marquee, and what a marquee it was.

Marquees tend to be very light inside, but this one was the complete opposite, billed as a fairytale garden this really did produce the wow factor.Tamsin and Max had invited close to 200 people to Avington Park for their wedding, Max, a doctor in the Army had his guard of honour present and Tamsin had plenty of bridesmaids. The couple were married at their local church and then made the short journey to Avington Park for the reception.

Their wedding was also planned by Shannon, who's wedding I photographed at Coworth Park last May, it was really great to see that she is branching out into weddings and it was lovely to catch up with both her and Anthony.

Photographing in a marquee that has black walls and ceilings can be a real test and I would hate to not have my trusted flashguns with me when attempting this. Whilst there were alot of candles lit black walls and ceilings tend to suck all the light up and very little emanates into the room.I also love the fact that Tamsin and Max hired out Photobooth, guests that sometimes are shy to be near the wedding photographer soon lose their inhibitions in front of a photobooth and some of their images are just superb. If you are thinking of hiring a photobooth for your wedding feel free to contact us.
