There are plenty of family photographers in England to choose from, most tend to provide studio photography against a white background, plenty of toys and you end up with some really nice studio images.
A lot of families however prefer to have a more natural approach to family photographs with the photographer documenting either a family day out or just an hour playing in the garden with a few family portraits at the end.I prefer the second approach, I feel it provides more of an insight into the family rather than a session in the studio. Like my wedding work, the personality shining through the images is the most important aspect of what I do. Carla and Jonny were wedding clients of mine and asked me to go to their house and document them and their family for half a day. The whole session took place in the garden, yes there were some toys, but definitely no white background.
