I am pleased to announce the dates for my 2 workshops next year. These are both workshops without models, which means they are classroom based. I do feel that a classroom environment is truly the best way to learn, and as the number of participants is limited the opportunity to learn and take your business to the next level is huge.

There will be 2 workshops next year, both operating on a first come first served basis.

The first is limited to 5 people and will be held over 2 days, in addition to the topics covered photographers who attend will also have the opportunity to ask me anything they like.

The second workshop will also be held over 2 days and will be attended by Anil Tohani, again this is classroom based and Anil will be bringing all his experience of Asian weddings to the table as well as his phenomenal photography skills. Strictly limited to 10 persons.

Below is some feedback from last years very talented photographers

“David is a brilliantly skilled & very talented photographer-
Having attended his February 2011 workshop my photography business (& skill set) has grown leaps and bounds!
He’s a fantastic source of all round knowledge; technical, hardware, software, post editing skills ‘n’ all. The workshop was lovingly presented in his very charismatic format with a good reference slide deck and supporting material; there was never a question without an answer!
We spent hours looking at skills, business models, how to run meetings, securing bookings, event follow-ups & post sales; working late into the nights the overall photographical insight to be gained was phenomenal. I’d love to sit through the same workshop over & over again just so I could push my work even harder!
This being the first in a series of workshops; I can’t wait for the next one!”

” would thoroughly recommend attending a workshop run by David. His enthusiasm for teaching, photography and sharing his knowledge is unbelievable. He worked so hard to ensure everyone got 100% out of the two days. He was open, honest and willing to share as much as we could take on. A totally brilliant experience for anyone wanting to move their business to the next level. “

“‘I thought the course was great, David shared lots with us about his own workflow and philosophy. Great feedback on our own websites. Insightful stuff from someone
who has honed their craft.’”

Mark Carey

““David thank you for sharing so much with us at the workshop. I have been on several workshops held by some world renowned photographers in the last year, and this has by far been the most useful. Although they were long days and I didn’t get much sleep I can honestly say I left that house with a different perspective on how to shoot weddings. I would love to attend the next workshop and get critiqued on my most recent work since the last workshop. I love your work and passion for what you do and it really showed when you taught us everything across the 2 days”

Beena Menon

“When looking for wedding training courses I was inundated with the standard courses offering a half day of theory and a half-day shoot with models which was not what I wanted. David’s course was perfect – an open forum with David divulging a lot of hard earned information and secrets followed by a full and comprehensive review of a wedding from each delegate, shot by shot.  David’s honest and constructive critique was extremely valuable as was listening to the other delegates critiques. This was not a course about David showing us how good he is, rather it was an open forum which covered all aspects of running a wedding photography business (including critiques of our websites and pricing). Since the course I have made a number of changes (for the better) to my business and my photography and am seeing the benefits. The course was an investment which is paying off already.”

Tom Weller

‘The workshop in April was a brilliant kick start to the wedding season. I got such a lot from looking at everyone’s work and also looking in more detail at my own work. I noticed an improvement in my photography straight away which has continued since then, particularly how I work at a wedding – taking more images and working harder and also being more creative. I also got some good tips for improving my website which were really useful.’

Sarah Cameron

” Great workshop David, well worth the journey and it has really helped me, already I have seen a BIG difference in the work I am producing and feedback from fellow professionals and clients. If you want to take you documentary photography to the next level then a DP workshop is a must”
