What a great wedding this was, full of life, an outdoor ceremony and some great dancing in the evening. Tanya booked me about 2 days before their wedding date, I met her in London, we got on really well and she booked me. I have so much admiration for James, he converted to Judaism in order to marry Tanya. Tanya and her family are Orthodox and so James has been studying and will continue to study his faith for years.
Tanya is a documentary film maker and has directed and shot for the BBC and Chanel 4, she is also a DJ and performed a great set late in the evening. She found my details on The JC The Jewish Chronicle – The Jewish community online
Tanya’s father is Lord Robert Winston ( him off the TV ), his speech along with Tanya’s brother Ben, were superbly funny, and Sir Jonathan Sacks, the Chief Rabbi, put into words James’s achievement far better than I can in this post. Thank you to both sets of family and friends for making me feel so welcome.
