Orchardleigh House is a beautiful venue, but its dark and the church at the bottom of the hill has no power, is one of the smallest churches I have seen and its exceptionally dark in there. And with C of E rules being as strict as they are this wedding pushed all 3 of my cameras to their extremes. I personally struggle to understand the Church of England’s stance on wedding photographs, at the end of the day we are all vendors for the same wedding, the church are getting paid and to restrict photographers to either stand at the back of the church and not allow photographs to me is mind boggling. no wonder church weddings are falling.
