Its always great to receive feedback from clients after they have seen their images, and i thought i would share some feedback I received from Emily and Liam Gallagher, whose wedding I shot 3 weeks ago. One of Emily and Liam’s main priorities for their wedding was photography, and it was a real pleasure to document their day and be part of their celebrations.
Below is part of the email I received from Emily today along with a couple of the images she references. Thank you Emily for such a lovely email, these kind of comments inspire me to carry on trying to produce better photography at every wedding.
Hi David
I thought i would drop you a quick email to tell you about my favourite ones that spring to mind:
There is a really quirky one of Liam’s Mum sat on her own at the end of a row of benches, I don’t know why I like that one so much but it makes me smile.
There’s also one of my grandparents sat on the bench with the vicar sat next to them. Again, I’m not sure why I like it so much, it reminds me of one of those funny postcards of OAPs looking really miserable, but I love it.
And another one of my sister and her husband during the speeches, everybody comments on that one. It’s just a really nice photo.
The one that made me get choked up the most was the one of me with my witness at the church, where we just look so excited! That is definitely one of my favourites. Every time I look at it, it immediately evokes really strong emotions in me. My witness was one of my closest friends and that one picture totally sums up our relationship.
I’ve only seen the ones of me and Liam once because of the computer problems, but I especially like the ones with a very white background, and the silhouette one where my veil is in the sun, that’s really cool.
Sorry for the long email, I don’t know much about the technicalities of photography but I just love looking at pictures and the angles, and lighting and the emotions that they can stir up. When I get to see the slide show I will spend hours studying the backgrounds and noticing all the little things that you miss the first time round. So I thought you might be interested to hear which ones were my favourites.
I always knew the photos would be amazing and I’m so happy to finally be able to see them.
Our house is basically going to be a wedding photo gallery from now on (which is probably a good thing as it beats finishing the decorating,),
Thanks again
Emily
