Only once in the past 7 years has it rained all day at a wedding, and Kirsty and Simon’s was the second. It wasn’t heavy rain, just light rain, but it just did not appear to stop at all. Not that that spoiled the day at all though, Kirsty and Simon chose the magnificent Horsington Grange in Somerset to host their wedding.
Here are just a few of my favourites from their day.

couple shouts for a wedding at Micklefield Hall

Vivianne and Brian | Micklefield Hall

Vivianne and Brian were married at the wonderful Micklefield Hall in Watford. Festivities started early, at 8.00am with some traditional Chinese games at Vivianne’s House, followed by Tea ceremonies at Brian’s parents house. It was then on to Micklefield Hall for the wedding ceremony and evening reception. Here are a few of my favourite images.

Helen and Rijan | Swinton Park

Helen and Rijan were married at the beautiful Swinton Park in North Yorkshire, a lovely venue situated in a lovely part of the country. I first met Rijan and Helen at a service station for a meeting, a real classy event in a Burger King restaurant, we had been trying to meet up for a few weeks and this was going to be the only chance we had. As soon as I met them I knew I wanted to photograph their wedding, both of them love photographs and gave me the freedom on the day to shoot whatever I liked. They also arranged to have the photobooth, which was the first time I had used it, the results were great and something that gives a real alternative take on the wedding.
