This was my first One Mayfair Wedding. I had shot a Barmitzvah at the venue last year, and its no surprise that both One Marylebone and One Mayfair are owned by the same company, as they are , I believe, both ex churches, both magnificent buildings and both blank canvases for anyone planning a wedding there.Clodagh, previously a City lawyer, is now an event planner and so it goes without saying that everything was organised superbly, and not stone left unturned.I arrived at their home in Notting Hill where both Clodagh and David were getting ready, Clodagh at their home and David with a few pints of Guinness at the local pub.

The ceremony was to be held at the church less that 200 yards from their home and so for once logistics at a London wedding were lovely and simple. After the ceremony the guests boarded an old RM London Bus whilst the couple and I made our way to Hyde Park for a few portraits.

The sun was out and the park was mobbed with tourists and people enjoying the first bit of sun we have seen for ages. Its really great to witness the kind side of people especially in such a busy City as London.

As we walked through the park, so many people offered their congratulations, so after a few quick portraits the waiting black cab then whisked us off to One Mayfair.A great evening was had by all, One Mayfair looked splendid and friends and family from all over the world drank and danced the night away into the early hours.

David has recently been voted one of the best wedding photographers in the UK for 2020
