Abbie and Robbie wanted me to come the day before their wedding to attend the rehearsal. So, I had the chance to spend a more time in that beautiful part of Betjeman’s Cornwall. The weather leading up to the wedding had been pretty wet and windy, but it was magnificent on the day which seems to be a bit of theme at the moment! Abbie decided to get ready in a superb old house with lovely natural light. She looked stunning in her dress. Rascal, a very smartly dressed usher (dog) joined us but wasn’t allowed to accompany us in the church! The church was literally a stones throw away and was virtually on the beach. A specially mown pathway wound it’s way from the church with the sea to the right, arriving at the marquee which was beautifully decorated with handmade origami paper birds hanging from the ceiling. I’m told that Robbie had nothing to do with making them!

Jane and Ed | Wedding Previews

When I arrived at Jane’s family home in Windsor I was bowled over by the beautiful location and originality of the place. With barges on one side of the ‘island’ and boats passing on the other side on the river Thames that ran alongside the lovely English garden. Jane you looked absolutely stunning and you were a pleasure to photograph. On top of that the weather was really kind to us! The intermittent showers and thunderous skies didn’t spoil the day at all. Thanks for the lovely song you sang to Ed Jane. That was the first time I’d experienced the bride singing to her husband! These are previews and there will be more to follow soon.

Lyndsay and Chintu | Avington Park

What a pleasure it was to photograph the wedding of Lindsay and Chintu! I was lucky enough o have a look around the elegant Winchester Cathedral as I arrived early. Lindsay looked stunning in her amazing wedding dress. I thoroughly enjoyed the humour and laughter with family and friends as she was getting ready. Then off to St Swithuns Church to meet Chintu. I quickly learnt that he was a celeb! He’d recently won Come Dine With Me. After the ceremony we headed to Avington Park. It was the first time I’d been there and it was a truly beautiful venue. I loved the tree lined avenue that led to the house and thanks both of you for posing with the horses!

I had the great pleasure of photographing Ana and Robs’ wedding near Porto in Portugal a few weeks ago. I arrived the day before to meet the couple as we had spoken alot on the phone and I was really desperate to meet them. They were so kind to me and really made me feel a special part of their day, the wedding went on long into the night culminating in a wonderful firework display.
