Kate and Ian were married at Delfina in London. Its a wonderful venue near Tower Bridge and somewhere I had never shot at before. The guys got ready at Ian and Kate’s riverside apartment and then walked over to the venue. For the couple portraits I tried to make good use of the recently installed bikes that seem to be everywhere in London these days.
Below are some of my favourite images from their day.
Richard ( October 21, 2010 2:28 pm ) Incredible work as always. If I could be bothered to make a list of my top 5 fav photographers in the world you'd be in it for sure. In an industry full of so much bull and fluffy nonsense it's refreshing to follow a photographer who just does it. Your work does all the talking.
I have known Meri and Ben ever since I documented Ben’s sister Tanya’s wedding last year at Micklefield Hall in Watford. Since then I have been privileged enough to work with Ben ( who runs Fulwell 73 Productions) on some Comic Relief Sketches with Andy Murray and on James Cordens’ World Cup Live, with Rio Ferdinand. Meri and Ben were engaged at the beginning of the year and arranged to get married at Coworth Park. Coworth Park was not even built when they made arrangements and was only completed literally the day before the wedding.
The wedding itself was a wonderful celebration of marriage, with the Chief Rabbii The Lord Sacks conducting the ceremony, James Corden as the Master of Ceremonies and a suprise set from Beverley Knight to round off the evening’s entertainment. It was a real pleasure to document their day and I must say a huge thanks to both family’s, especially Lira + Robert , Ben’s parents and Harold and Stephanie , meri’s parents for making me feel so welcome and allowing me free reign over the images.
Below are some of my favourite images, including a sneak preview from James Corden and his lovely girlfriend Julia’s imminent arrival.
David Pullum is a phenominal photographer. He is a different level to any
other photographer i have seen. He manages to capture beautiful moments
that noone else can. One also never even notices him at an event he is so
discreet. After the wedding, you are left with not just an album of
memories, but pieces of art. He is truly remarkable, and I can't recommend
him highly enough.
