Mel + Kevin | Burford Bridge | Surrey

I travelled to Surrey for the first of 2 shoots in 3 days in and around the London area. Mel and Kevin married at Mel’s local church and then onto Burford Bridge for the reception. Bridal prep’s were a memorable experience, everyone appearing to be quite calm and then with 30 minutes to go pandemonium broke out with bridesmaids, mothers , sisters running around looking for parts of their outfit, but my hat goes off to mel who stayed very relaxed and calm whilst everything around her was so hectic.

Manuel & Megan | London Engagement

Manuel contacted me some months ago, both he and Megan live in Hong Kong and were coming over to London for a holiday and to meet with Manuel’s brother. Whilst they were here that wanted me to document them for a day around London. We must have walked most of the West End of London and by the end of the 8 hours we were all absolutely shattered. As much as I love shooting in London, it can be a real rip off, Ive posted an image below of a hamburger, it really is as small as it looks, and the chips it came with were about as thick as cotton, and about as tasty. This little ensemble set us back Ã‚Â£8.75, unbelievable.

We started off at Selfridges where Megan had a makeover and ended up along the bank of the Thames, along the way stopping off at Kew Gardens.

Manuel and Megan are now back in Hong Kong, it was a pleasure to work with them both and spend a glorious summers day in London.

Wedding Images Clearwell Castle | Lisa and Harley

Lisa, Harley and their guests all travelled from America to the UK for this wedding. Lisa and Harley came over last year to view 10 prospective castles for their wedding venue and chose Clearwell Castle in The Forest of Dean. The wedding was a small intimate affair with around 20 guests, I love shooting small weddings as it gives me a chance to get to speak to and gain the trust of the people that mean alot to the couple.

Katie + Craig

Its pretty rare to find a couple so chilled out about their wedding day, but thats exactly how Katie and Craig were, even meeting up and seeing each other before the service. Katie’s sister and her husband own a gorgeous house, with self-catering cottages, huge garden and lake, absolutely perfect for a marquee wedding.

Lulworth Castle Wedding Images | Michelle + TJ

Michelle and TJ married at Lulworth Castle in Dorset, its a spectacular venue and makes for some wonderful images. Michelle’s father and some of her guests had flown in from Eastern Europe to enjoy the celebrations and the whole day was a mixture of happiness and a few tears during the speeches.

St Audries Park Wedding Images | Cat + H

I will remember this wedding for years to come as it is probably one of the best first dances I have seen. Cat and H came down the main staircase together, Cat having changed into an evening dress and waltzed onto the dance floor to begin their first dance. The reaction the dance received from their guests was amazing, smiles, laughter, and only when H did his little solo dance, embarrassment

Combe House Wedding | Lucy + Justin

Lucy and Justin had a wonderfully intimate wedding, in total there were 9 people and Combe House is the perfect venue for such a small wedding. I love weddings like these as they throw up so many challenges, variety of shots being one of the hardest to achieve. I must thank both sets of families for making me feel so welcome, and I know how difficult it was for Lucy’s father not to get his camera out during the day, hopefully he took some great shots after I had gone.
