It was an absolute pleasure to document Jo and Matt’s wedding at The National Portrait Gallery, and I was equally pleased to have my good Friend Anil Tohani along to shoot with me. Jo and Matt live in Canada and came back to London to get married at Jo’s church in Marylebone Road.
After the wedding Anil and I took them to Hyde Park where we shot some portraits, it was a pretty hilarious ride over to the park as Anil and i squeezed into the front of a 1951 Jowett Javelin car, which is tiny. Then the whole wedding party jumped aboard an old Routemaster and we toured the sights of London on our way to the Gallery. It was truly a lovely wedding and Jo and Matt couldn’t have been more relaxed and good fun to work with.
