Emma and Derek were married at Westminster registry office in the heart of London and then went onto the stunning Amadeus Centre in Maida Vale.

Emma is a vice-principal at a school just round the corner from where my parents live and has been working tirelessly to get better results for a school that has seen better days with regard to results, so much so that she worked the day before here big day.I know GCSE results were in a couple of week ago and I hope they provided good news for her, she deserves it

Here is one of my favourite images from their day.

Emma Loveland ( August 28, 2008 5:31 pm ) David, What can I say these photographs are simply wonderful. They have enabled us to relive a truely fabulous day. I looked at the website early this morning and cried at all the same places! Thank you so much, your talent has given us such memories. Emma x

I’m really busy this week, I have a 2 day Asian wedding in London, sandwiched by a wedding back home in Devon, here’s a quick show from Jack and Sarah who got married at Clearwell Castle on 9th August.

A typical English summer wedding, it poured with rain all day, and so the whole wedding was spent inside.

Kim Calakoutis ( August 27, 2008 1:49 pm ) She must be so happy with these! Gorgeous as always!

On July 30th I had the absolute pleasure of documenting Emma and Stuarts’ wedding. As mentioned in a previous post I met them about 3 times before I shot their wedding and we really formed a great friendship. Emmas’ bridal preps took place in the family home on their farm. Emmas father lives with his family at the very same house that he was born in.

Unfortunately for the couple the weather was awful, but I had such a great laugh with them and their guests that it did not matter to me and it certainly did not spoil their day.

All the images here are unposed, natural images, even the one with Stuart and his pet duck!!! One of my personal all time favourites is of them in the carriage as we drove back to the farm. I think it shows a happy couple very much in love and at complete ease with their photographer. For me its sums up the whole day and says more than any words can.

Anne ( August 22, 2008 8:14 am ) WOW! Can't wait to see the slide!
